EMPAT Consulting was created to make sales easy for business owners because it shouldn't be hard. With 20 years of sales experience before being a business owner, I've experienced sales from both sides.

 

I've worked for companies with and without supporting processes, had bosses that coached and had many that didn't. I've had the one week onboarding sessions and had to work out how to win business on my own and from scratch. Have been on 'sales training' that were nothing more than a pep-talk, or worse a guide through pushy, old fashioned methods of present, overcome objections and close.

Business development can be daunting but it always starts with solving problems and experience matters. For 20 years I have been helping people in business solve some complex problems in sales engineer / manager roles, in many industries including: petrochemical, automotive, and mining / minerals processing, not only in Australia but Europe too. For most of these years I had to develop my own sales strategy and sales processes, and measure for my own B2B sales success. Now as a consultant, I am able to help small to medium size business leaders achieve revenue growth by developing their sales funnels, teams and sales prospecting habits.

 

As an MBA qualified business owner, with many competing priorities of my own, I appreciate that it can be hard to stay focused on your customers, target and existing. A documented sales strategy and process that details how you will win is a critical piece. Sales leadership training can multiply your sales efforts in a measurable way.

 

Execution is everything. I use a range of tried and tested tools, to capture and develop successful strategy and then help develop a process and procedures to ensure excellent strategy execution. Many clients keep themselves accountable with an ongoing sales coaching engagement. ​
